Keren is a cellist from Veracruz, Mexico, where she was a member of the Orquesta Filarmónica de Boca del Río. She moved to Canada and earned a Masters of Music Performance under cellist Leanne Zacharias at Brandon University in Manitoba.

Keren is now in Ontario, Canada, enrolled in a Diploma of Music Performance program at the University of Ottawa, and studying under cellist Paul Marleyn.
